Encodes the  colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF1R, also known as CD115), a tyrosine kinase receptor that regulates the survival, proliferation, and differentiation of macrophages and other myeloid lineage cells upon binding to CSF1 or IL-34 ligands – for research & development in tumor-associated macrophage (TAM) biology, neurodegenerative diseases (e.g., Alzheimer’s), and development of CSF1R-targeted therapies (e.g., small molecule inhibitors or CAR Macrophages) for cancer and inflammatory disorders
