    Description

Cas13 ssRNA Fluorescence Reporter for CRISPR-based RNA Target Detection Assays

Cas13 ssRNA reporter is a single-strand oligo RNA probe with a 6-FAM (fluorescence) label* at the 5′ end and a BHQ (quencher) label at the 3′ end.

When combined with guide RNA and target RNA, Cas13 enzymes exhibit activated trans-cleavage activity of ssRNA. Upon cleavage, the quenched fluorescence of the probe recovers, enabling enzyme activity analysis and precise RNA target detection by fluorescence (absorption at 495 nm,  emission at 517 nm).

*The Cas13 ssRNA reporter can be custom labeled for you with any of the following alternative dyes: AMCA, Pacific Blue, Atto 425, BODIPY FL, 6-FAM, Oregon Green 488, TET, JOE, Yakima Yellow, VIC, HEX, Quasar 570, Cy3, NED, TAMRA, ROX, AquaPhluor 593, Texas Red, Atto 590, IR Dye 650, Cy5, Quasar 670, Cy5.5, Cy7, IR Dye 750 – please contact us for a quote
