The High Molecular Weight Genomic DNA Extraction Kit (Magnetic Beads) for Cells provides a reliable and fast process for extracting HMW genomic DNA from cells, using Solid Phase Reversible Immobilization (SPRI) magnetic beads. The kit eliminates the tedious centrifuge steps for columns and provides a reliable, fast, and simple approach for high-quality genomic DNA isolation with high binding capacity.
Cultured cells are collected, resuspended, lysed with a lysis buffer, and then mixed with magnetic beads by tube tapping to bind genomic DNA. After mixing and washing steps, high molecular weight genomic DNA is eluted in 100 ul elution buffer. The isolated HMW genomic DNA is free of contaminations such as RNA, proteins, salts, and other impurities.
