psPAX2 – Individual HIV Lentiviral Packaging Plasmid

psPAX2 is a Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) lentiviral packaging plasmid encoding HIV-1 genes gag, pol, and delta env-tat/rev. Together with plasmid pMD2.G which encodes the VSV-G envelope protein, the mix of both plasmids provides all necessary structural, regulatory, and replication proteins required to produce pseudotyped packaged lentiviral constructs. The two plasmids are available as an optimized mix as Ready-to-use Lentiviral Packaging Plasmid Mix.

psPAX2 is offered as individual packaging plasmid in case you need to produce your own lentiviral packaging mix in your laboratory. This enables the flexibility to use different packaging plasmid ratios, for example, to maximize titer in your cell line of interest, and also allows for the use of alternative envelope plasmids.
