Encodes the receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor 1 (ROR1), a transmembrane protein overexpressed in various hematological malignancies and solid tumors but with limited expression in normal adult tissues. – for research and development in the context of research in cancer biology, particularly in studies of Wnt signaling pathway modulation, tumor cell migration and invasion, and development of targeted immunotherapies such as CAR-T cells and antibody-based treatments against ROR1-positive cancers
