SARS-CoV-2 S1-RBD Lentiviral Overexpression Construct

Description

Lentiviral particles expressing the S1 receptor binding domain (RBD) of the SARS-CoV-2. The sequence is human codon optimized for high expression in mammalian cells. The secreted expressed S1-RBD is about ~45 kDa. It carries a poly-histidine tag at the C-terminus (6-His tag) for purification of the S1-RBD Protein directly from the culture medium without need for cell lysis. The target is expressed under enhanced CMV promoter. A RFP-Blasticidin fusion dual marker under RSV promoter allows fluorescense sorting or Blasticidin resistance selection of transduced cells. The RFP signal additionally provides convenient, real-time monitoring of the particles´ performance. Each Lentivirus is validated on lot-by-lot basis, and target expression is guaranteed.
200 ul concentrated and purified particles at 1 x 10e8 TFU/ml in PBS solution are provided.
