Encodes TNFR1 , Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor 1, als known as TNFRSF1A, one of the primary receptors for tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) and is widely expressed in most mammalian cells. It plays a critical role in inflammatory responses, apoptosis, necrosis, and autoimmune regulation. TNFR1 mediates activation of the NF-κB signaling pathway and apoptosis/necrosis pathways via TRADD, FADD, and RIPK1 – for research and development in the context of apoptosis research, inflammation and immune signaling pathway studies, mRNA delivery research, cancer, chronic inflammation, and autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn’s disease
