Description

Neutralization and related viral binding/infection assays require cell lines with the appropriate receptors to make the susceptible to the virus.
For coronaviruses, Cellecta will engineer an immortalized cell line to express the receptor corresponding to the viral spike, such as the ACE2 receptor for SARS-CoV and DPP4 for MERS-CoV.
